Ella’s Kids, Inc. is a non-profit, tax exempt 501 (c) (3) organization where we embrace families residing in transitional housing within the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area with love, character building, workshops, computer training, and in other areas.

Ella’s Kids is a Christian-based ministry that primarily works with challenged families that reside in shelters, families of ex-offenders, and families of substance abusers, however, we don’t limit who we give assistance to and we welcome the chance to help those in need to get up, get out and get on with their lives!

OUR STORY

Here at Ella's Kids Inc., we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: the love of Jesus, empowerment, and uplifting families.

Ella's Kids, Inc. was birthed out of the family history of Ella Robertson-Strother, our founder. Ella’s mom and dad dedicated over fifty years to helping the underserved meet Jesus, get an education, secure jobs, get food, find homes and becoming productive members of God’s society!
