Ella’s Kids, Inc. Annual Christmas Celebration provides an unforgettable day for 300+ children and families that reside in the District of Columbia, volunteers, and all of the sponsors and guests that attend.

As the children begin to arrive the morning of, their faces light up. One couldn’t help but smile when you see the children’s eyes grow big and full of excitement. Some even came running with opened arms and we welcomed them by being swooped up and receiving a large hug. While there, the children get a chance to assemble jewellery, eat fresh popcorn and cotton candy, design their own tees, finger paint, play a host of games, make arts & crafts, meet KiKi the Clown for face painting and balloon sculpturing, so they can take home, and most of all enjoy a variety of food items catered with them in mind. Following lunch and the reading of the Christmas story, each child gets the chance to visit with the gift-bearing Santa’s Work Shop. In addition to receiving presents from Santa, goodies (candy, fruits, and nuts), and each child get to pick two gifts in Santa’s workshop for their families.
